Meet The Team
Dr. Darren Lubbers has over 20 years’ experience in the behavioral health field. He is a research scientist specializing in utilizing data analytics to strengthen the efficiency and effectiveness of clinical practice and policy decisions. He has collaborated with numerous MCO’s, PIHP’s, CMH’s, coalitions, tribal organizations, and provider behavioral health organizations across Michigan, North Carolina, Oregon, Arizona, and Minnesota. He is passionate about integrating instruments and statistical models to demonstrate the effectiveness of clinical outcomes for integrated physical health, mental health, substance abuse, intellectual/developmental disabilities, autism, and traumatic brain injury systems of care.
Dr. Lubbers strengthens behavioral health systems of care by designing models that integrate valid and reliable diagnostics, optimal levels of care, clinical outcome strategies and statistically modeled algorithms that result in improved system efficiency and effectiveness. Dr. Lubbers has received national recognition for his design of behavioral health assessment and outcome systems to monitor and evaluate program efficiency and effectiveness. He has also trained several CMH systems of care on SAMHSA Evidence Based Practices. Dr. Lubbers also works as a Federal evaluator for several substance abuse prevention projects, has conducted large research and evaluation projects, and is a frequent presenter at State and National conferences. He collaborates with several universities and research institutions on a multitude of behavioral health innovation projects.
Dr. Lubbers earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI and his master’s degree and Ph.D. in Psychology at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. In his free time, he enjoys boating on Lake Huron and Sylvan Lake, travel, and participating in a multitude of sports.
Personal
My wife Priscilla and I have lived in Holland since 1979. We have three adult children (5 grandchildren) that live in Grand Rapids, Virginia and Germany. Recently I have become somewhat addicted to pickleball.

The Ashland Group, Founder and Principal, 1993-2007
The Ashland Group provided a range of consulting services to organizations throughout Michigan. In addition to strategic planning and organizational re-alignment services, services included assisting organizations with leadership transition and providing interim executive services. In 2000/01 I headed an initiative for James Haveman, Director of the Michigan Department of Community Health to re-form Medicaid Long Term Care. Subsequently I worked with a number of long term care agencies around strategic planning for potential new initiatives.
Hope Network, Vice President for Partnerships and Affiliations:
2007-2014
Hope Network’s strategy for sustainability is to grow in size and scope. I headed its mergers and acquisitions initiatives along with exploring opportunities for services in states outside of MI. Programs were initiated in GA and AZ. Total Care Solutions, a consulting entity for behavioral health MCOs served customers in North Carolina and Oregon.
2014-2018
I retired from full time employment with Hope Network at the end of 2014 however I have continued to provide managed care consulting services to organizations in other states through Total Care Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hope Network that I helped Hope initiate. In 2017 Hope transferred all business contracts of TCS to Integrated Behavioral Health Analytics. I am currently working on a project in NC for Partners BHM, a public behavioral health managed care company through IBHA.
Allegan County United Way, Interim Executive Director, 2016
The primary goal during my tenure as Interim CEO was to help ACUW find the best option going forward to enhance sustainability and aggressively move forward with the objective of implementing the United Way Worldwide Community Impact model. After considering multiple options, the ACUW board decided to contract with a neighboring United Way for a range of leadership, program development and back-room functions. This option allowed the ACUW board to remain in place along with a local office and on-site staff in key areas.
Brittany has a passion for improving processes and systems of care through data driven decision making and user friendly monitoring tools. Over the past seven years, Brittany has transformed Utilization Management systems in behavioral health care. Monitoring trends in utilization merged with statistical analyses gives the reviewer a definitive conclusion; shifting from a wait and see approach to taking action now. Brittany received an undergraduate degree in Statistics and a master's degree in Biostatistics from Grand Valley State University. In her free time, Brittany enjoys gardening, soap making, and traveling with her husband and son.
Jaimie has a passion for data and its ability to transform and improve organizations and processes. She enjoys taking complex data sets and making sense of the information to aid in decision making. She combines her interest in statistical computing, data visualization, and statistics to create user friendly reports to help organizations get the most from their data. Jaimie specializes in predictive analytics and costing models that help to positively transform organizational efficiency and effectiveness. Jaimie received an undergraduate degree in Statistics and a master's degree in Biostatistics from Grand Valley State University. In her free time, Jaimie enjoys playing volleyball, doing puzzles, running, and traveling with her family and friends.
Jordan Dawn Ooms received her bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in Psychology with a specialization in cognitive science. She has also earned her master’s degree in Biostatistics at Grand Valley State University. She specializes in SAMHSA integrated health projects, Utilization Management, Needs Assessments, Autism Outcome Projects and Substance Abuse Prevention through coalition work and with Minnesota Positive Community Norms. She specializes in logistic regression, odds ratios, statistical modeling, and report building. In her spare time, she enjoys being on Lake Michigan on her boat, taking her dog on hikes through the woods, reading, and spending time with her friends and family.
"Brianna Johnson has always had a passion for artistic design. While growing up in Lansing, Michigan, she recognized her love for art, but wanted to expand her knowledge in the area. Bri's talents bring to life IBH Analytics reports, presentations, and infographics.
She earned her Bachelors Degree at Oakland University in the Spring of 2018, with her major being graphic design, and a minor in studio arts. Brianna also specializes in branding projects including logo design, stationary work, and business cards. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her dogs, playing video games, and drawing."
Quentin has an affinity for implementing
software and web-based solutions. He has experience developing front-to-back
applications, utilizing a broad array of technologies and programming
languages. He has interests in algorithm optimization, database technology, and
the implementation of communication patterns to transform user data into
comprehensive analytics and reports. Quentin received an undergraduate degree
in Computer Science with a professional focus in bioinformatics from Oakland
University. Quentin enjoys reading classic novels, watching movies, and going
to the gym in his free time.
