The Ashland Group provided a range of consulting services to organizations throughout Michigan. Subsequently I worked with a number of long term care agencies around strategic planning for potential new initiatives.

Hope Network, Vice President for Partnerships and Affiliations:

Hope Network’s strategy for sustainability is to grow in size and scope. I headed its mergers and acquisitions initiatives along with exploring opportunities for services in states outside of MI. Programs were initiated in GA and AZ. Total Care Solutions, a consulting entity for behavioral health MCOs served customers in North Carolina and Oregon.

I retired from full time employment with Hope Network at the end of 2014 however I have continued to provide managed care consulting services to organizations in other states through Total Care Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hope Network that I helped Hope initiate. In 2017 Hope transferred all business contracts of TCS to Integrated Behavioral Health Analytics. I am currently working on a project in NC for Partners BHM, a public behavioral health managed care company through IBHA.

Allegan County United Way, Interim Executive Director, 2016

The primary goal during my tenure as Interim CEO was to help ACUW find the best option going forward to enhance sustainability and aggressively move forward with the objective of implementing the United Way Worldwide Community Impact model. After considering multiple options, the ACUW board decided to contract with a neighboring United Way for a range of leadership, program development and back-room functions. This option allowed the ACUW board to remain in place along with a local office and on-site staff in key areas.
